Over the last four years this Victorian, family home, with breathtaking views over the inner and outer harbour and across the St. Austell Bay towards Fowey, Looe and Plymouth beyond, has been extensively renovated. The accommodation is now bright, light and contemporary, the emphasis upon relaxed and luxurious comfort, with a no smoking policy.

We are a two minute walk from Mevagissey village with its shops, restaurants and

attractions, a thirty minute walk from Heligan Gardens and a short drive from the Eden Project. The Mevagissey to Fowey ferry is two minutes away. We are on the coastal path and there are a range of beaches within walking distance.

We are unable to provide private parking but you can do as we do, using either one of the four long stay car parks in the village or free parking, accessed by a footpath nearby. You can, of course, load and unload immediately outside 41.

If you choose a bed and breakfast holiday at 41 Polkirt Hill you will be our only guests. We will do all we can to make your stay enjoyable, comfortable and memorable. We offer one double bedroom with breathtaking views, an incredibly comfortable bed with crisp white linen, flat screen TV and radio, tea and coffee making facilities and contemporary furnishings.

Your private bathroom has been designed for pampering! Enjoy a soak or a quick shower and wrap up in one of our white towelling robes afterwards.

Return with your newspapers, and enjoy them over a leisurely breakfast in our informal dining room, whilst you plan your day, and watch the boats and harbour activity below.

Enjoy a stroll around the harbour whilst we prepare your breakfast. The sunrises

can be magnificent! As you would be our only guests breakfast would be at a time decided by you - and you don't have to share the dining room!
